Both coaching and
mentoring are processes that enable both individual and corporate clients to
achieve their full potential:-

the exploration of needs, motivations, desires, skills and thought processes
to assist the individual in making real, lasting change.

the coaching or mentoring relationship.

outcomes of the process, using objective measures wherever possible to
ensure the relationship is successful and the client is achieving their
personal goals.

Encourage clients
to continually improve competencies and to develop new developmental
alliances where necessary to achieve their goals.

Work within their
area of personal competence.

Possess
qualifications and experience in the areas that skills-transfer coaching is
offered.

Manage the
relationship to ensure the client receives the appropriate level of service
and that programmes are neither too short, nor too long.
What
is Life Coaching?
Life
Coaching is a new profession, based on sports coaching. Life Coaches, or
Personal Coaches, have been around for a long time initially being the preserve
of the rich and famous and now available to everyone.
Life
coaching is an holistic process that focuses on where you are now,
in all aspects of your life in relation to where you identify you would like to
be in the future and how you believe
you can achieve your desired goal or outcome. Life coaching helps you to help
yourself.
Coaching
is neither therapy nor counselling. The
coach helps you to gain a better understanding of your concerns, then helps you
to get to the next level in your personal growth and development so that your
concerns will cease to exist. Life coaching requires your total commitment to
change and take responsibility to act.
Coaching

Coaching is a team
effort relying upon the development of a strong relationship between the coach
and yourself, working together to find out what you really want, and determining
your purpose in life, that which is driving you but is outside of your conscious
awareness.
Change requires you to set yourself goals that are aligned to and supportive of
you reaching your goals. Then together you and your coach can develop strategies
to support you to deliver your goals and enabling you to get what you really
want out of life.
Coaching can help create clarity of purpose, set realistic goals and develop
useful strategies for achieving your desired future lifestyle. Coaching helps
you move effortlessly to where you want it to go, finding ways to work around
obstacles and break down barriers to future success.
